Two charged after Walderslade disturbance

Detectives investigating a disturbance in Walderslade have charged two men.

Kent Police was called to an altercation involving two groups of men in Walderslade Road at 5.32pm on Friday 5th April. The altercation took place following a three vehicle collision.

On the morning of Saturday 6 April two men attended Medway Police Station where they were arrested in connection with the incident.

Charles Patrick, 30 from Gorse Avenue, Chatham and Jack Patrick, 22 of no fixed address were both charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon. They will appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 8 April.

Officers continue to carry out enquiries.
