Man charged after Gillingham burglary

Kent Police officers investigating the theft of a luxury watch, jewellery and money from an address in Gillingham have charged a man.

The offence saw the door of a home in Nelson Road forced open between the evening of 18th December and the early hours of 19th December 2018.

Aaron Ellis was arrested on suspicion of the offence on the morning of Thursday 28th February.

The 19-year-old, of Franklin Road in Gillingham, has since been charged with one count of burglary and bailed to attend Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 9th April.
